Expression Level Dominance

Expression Level Dominance is a genomic expression phenomenon in which the transcript abundance of a gene in an allopolyploid organism exhibits a pattern equivalent to that of one parental species, thereby reflecting the dominant regulation of gene expression levels by one parental genome over the other in the context of genome dosage effects.
