Explicit Dynamics

Explicit Dynamics is a computational method in dynamic finite element analysis that belongs to the class of time integration techniques and is distinguished by its use of an explicit time-stepping scheme, where nodal accelerations are computed directly from known forces at the current time step without solving a system of equations, enabling efficient simulation of high-speed, transient events such as crashworthiness and impact.
