Enzyme Solvent Stability
Enzyme Solvent Stability is the intrinsic resistance of an enzyme’s active conformation and catalytic activity to denaturation or inactivation in the presence of non-aqueous or mixed solvent systems, distinguishing it from other forms of enzyme stability by its specific dependence on solvent polarity, hydrophobicity, and molecular interactions in non-physiological media.
