Empedoclean Cosmology
Empedoclean Cosmology is a presocratic philosophical theory of cosmic order and change that posits the interplay of four elemental roots (earth, water, air, and fire) governed by the opposing divine forces of Love and Strife as the fundamental mechanism of creation, destruction, and cyclical transformation in the universe.
