Embedded Processor Integration is a system-level architectural design methodology in FPGA-based systems that embeds one or more processor cores (hard or soft) into the same chip as the programmable logic fabric and couples them via on-chip interconnects, memory, and peripherals to realize tightly integrated heterogeneous hardware–software computation.
