About

Ecocriticism is an interdisciplinary field of literary and cultural studies that examines the relationship between literature, human culture, and the physical environment. It critically analyzes how environmental issues, nature, and the nonhuman world are represented and conceptualized in texts and cultural practices, often with an ethical concern for ecological sustainability and a challenge to anthropocentric perspectives, thereby re-evaluating the human place within ecosystems.
