Durable Solutions

Durable Solutions is a legal and policy concept in international refugee law that denotes a form of protection outcome that definitively resolves a refugee’s displacement by restoring access to effective and lasting national protection and enabling a normal, self-sustaining life, typically through voluntary repatriation, local integration in the country of asylum, or resettlement in a third state.
