Double Conflict Rules is a conflict-of-laws doctrine that, under the principle of double renvoi, refers to the situation in which the choice-of-law rules of two or more jurisdictions mutually refer to each other’s substantive law, thereby creating a circularity in legal determinations across transnational disputes.
