Digital Elevation Model Resampling is a spatial data processing technique that alters the resolution or grid structure of a digital elevation model by interpolating elevation values from a source grid to a target grid, thereby distinguishing it from other terrain preprocessing methods through its focus on grid transformation while preserving topographic morphology.
