Diffusion-controlled Phase Transformations
Diffusion-Controlled Phase Transformations is a class of solid-state phase transformations in which the kinetics of phase change are predominantly governed by the rate of atomic diffusion through the parent or product phases, distinguishing it from diffusionless or displacive transformations that occur via coordinated atomic movements without significant mass transport.
