Density Current Propagation

Density Current Propagation is a physical fluid dynamics process in which a gravitational flow of water with a higher density than the surrounding ambient fluid advances horizontally along the bottom or interface of a receiving water body, driven primarily by density differences arising from variations in salinity, temperature, or suspended sediment concentration.
