Dense Image Matching

Dense Image Matching is a photogrammetric method that belongs to the class of image matching techniques and is specifically distinguished by its ability to generate a highly detailed, pixel-wise correspondence field between overlapping images through the estimation of correspondences at a dense grid of points, thereby enabling the reconstruction of high-resolution 3D surface models in the context of photogrammetric elevation modeling.
