Deep-sea Mapping
Deep-Sea Mapping is a systematic geospatial methodology for characterizing and visualizing the topography, geomorphology, and benthic features of oceanic regions deeper than 200 meters, distinguished from broader seafloor mapping by its focus on abyssal plains, trenches, and deep-sea ecosystems inaccessible to conventional surface-based survey techniques.
