Deep Eutectic Solvent Extraction

Deep Eutectic Solvent Extraction is an extraction technique that employs a deep eutectic solvent—formed by mixing a hydrogen bond donor and a hydrogen bond acceptor to achieve a eutectic mixture with a significantly lower melting point than its individual components—as the extracting medium to selectively isolate target compounds from a matrix.
