A CW Complex is a topological space constructed inductively by attaching cells of increasing dimension to a sequence of subspaces, where each cell is homeomorphically attached to the existing skeleton via continuous attaching maps from the boundary spheres, satisfying the weak topology condition with respect to the closure-finite collection of cells.
