Cut-through Flow Control
Cut-Through Flow Control is a flow control mechanism in network communication systems that belongs to the class of data transmission protocols and is distinguished by enabling a switching node to begin forwarding a packet toward its destination as soon as the header is received and the routing decision is made, without waiting for the entire packet to be buffered, thereby reducing latency compared to store-and-forward methods.
