Creditor Bargaining

Creditor Bargaining is a formal negotiation process within corporate rescue mechanisms in which creditors, as a collective decision-making body, engage with debtor firms or other stakeholders to restructure financial claims, with the distinguishing feature being the strategic interplay among creditors to reach an efficient and equitable resolution that maximizes recovery value while balancing insolvency-related power dynamics and informational asymmetries.
