Credible Interval Estimation is a Bayesian interval estimation method that quantifies the uncertainty of a parameter by specifying a posterior probability interval within which the parameter lies with a given probability, distinguishing it from frequentist confidence intervals by incorporating prior knowledge and yielding directly interpretable probabilistic statements about the parameter.
