Control Reversal

Control Reversal is a static aeroelastic phenomenon in which an applied aerodynamic control surface deflection produces a structural elastic response that counteracts the intended control action, resulting in a reduction or reversal of the expected aerodynamic moment or lift, thereby compromising flight control effectiveness.
