Concentration-dependent Killing Interactions

Concentration-Dependent Killing Interactions is a pharmacodynamic interaction in antimicrobial therapy wherein the magnitude and rate of microbial killing are primarily determined by the peak concentration of the antimicrobial agent relative to the pathogen's minimum inhibitory concentration, distinguishing it from time-dependent killing mechanisms that rely on duration of exposure.
