Clock-bmal1 Heterodimer

CLOCK-BMAL1 Heterodimer is a transcriptional activator complex that belongs to the class of circadian regulatory proteins and is distinguished by the heterodimeric interaction between the CLOCK and BMAL1 basic helix-loop-helix PER-ARNT-SIM domain-containing transcription factors, which binds to E-box enhancer elements to drive the expression of core circadian clock genes.
