Client-server Layering
Client-Server Layering is a layered architectural pattern in distributed systems where the genus of system functionality is partitioned into distinct layers according to the client-server model, differentiating it from other layering approaches by assigning the client layer the role of service requester and the server layer the role of service provider, thereby enabling separation of concerns, scalable resource access, and centralized management of data and logic.
