Class-Based Stereotyping is a socio-cognitive process in which individuals are ascribed generalized, often oversimplified, attributes, behaviors, or values based on their perceived membership in a particular social class, thereby differentiating it from other forms of stereotyping by centering socioeconomic status as the primary categorical determinant of social perception.
