Child Torture

Child Torture is a form of torture distinctively targeting individuals under the age of 18, characterized by the intentional infliction of severe physical or psychological pain or suffering by or with the acquiescence of state or non-state actors, distinguished from adult torture by the heightened vulnerability of the child and the specific violation of child-specific rights under international human rights and humanitarian law.
