Chicana Performance Studies

Chicana Performance Studies is an interdisciplinary academic field that examines the performative expressions of Chicana identity, culture, and resistance, distinguished by its focus on the embodied practices, theatrical productions, and artistic activism through which Chicanas negotiate gender, race, sexuality, and coloniality within the broader context of U.S. Latina/o and feminist epistemologies.
