Change-point Estimation

Change-Point Estimation is the statistical inference task of determining the location(s) of structural breaks in a sequence of data, where the underlying generative process undergoes abrupt changes, distinguished from broader change-point detection by its focus on accurately localizing the change points rather than merely testing for their presence.
