Cestode Absorption
Cestode Absorption is a biological process in which cestodes, as parasitic flatworms, selectively take up nutrients directly through their tegument from the host’s intestinal environment, distinguishing it from other forms of parasitic nutrition by its absence of a digestive tract and reliance on passive and active transport mechanisms across the syncytial surface.
