Cellular Resource Allocation

Cellular Resource Allocation is a theoretical construct in systems biology that specifies the distribution of limited intracellular resources, such as energy, ribosomes, and precursors, among competing cellular processes—including transcription, translation, and metabolism—thereby determining the efficiency and prioritization of biological functions under conditions of metabolic burden.
