Carry-over Factor

The Carry-Over Factor is a dimensionless coefficient in structural analysis that quantifies the ratio of the moment induced at the far end of a flexural member to the moment applied at the near end when the far end is fixed, distinguishing it from other distribution-related factors by its specific role in moment transmission across continuous supports in the Moment Distribution Method.
