Brine Compatibility
Brine Compatibility is a completion fluid compatibility assessment criterion that evaluates the thermodynamic and physicochemical stability of alkaline-surfactant-polymer formulations when exposed to formation brines, distinguishing it from general fluid compatibility by its specific focus on ionic interactions affecting emulsion stability, phase behavior, and polymer viscosity under reservoir conditions.
