Breaker Type Dynamics

Breaker Type Dynamics is a theoretical framework within nearshore hydrodynamics that classifies and predicts the morphological evolution of breaking waves based on the interplay between wave steepness, beach slope, and dimensionless fall velocity, thereby distinguishing itself from other nearshore process models by its focus on the mechanistic transition between spilling, plunging, collapsing, and surging wave breaker types.
