Boost Pressure Control

Boost Pressure Control is an engine management strategy within compression-ignition engines that regulates the amount of forced induction provided by a turbocharger or supercharger by modulating the exhaust gas flow through the turbine via a variable geometry mechanism or waste gate, thereby maintaining optimal aircharge pressure for combustion efficiency and emissions performance.
