Azeotrope Breaking

Azeotrope Breaking is a separation technique in distillation design that disrupts azeotropic behavior by altering the vapor-liquid equilibrium through the introduction of an entrainer, pressure-swing distillation, or reactive components, thereby enabling the purification of mixtures that would otherwise resist conventional distillation due to the formation of constant-boiling azeotropes.
