Authorization Test is a legal doctrine within the framework of statutory vicarious liability that determines liability by assessing whether the employer has authorized, either explicitly or implicitly, the conduct or activity that led to the harm, thereby distinguishing cases where the employee's wrongful act is sufficiently connected to their delegated responsibilities.
