Asynchronous Timewarp
Asynchronous Timewarp is a real-time rendering technique in virtual reality systems that belongs to the class of late-stage reprojection methods, distinguished by its ability to decouple the rendering pipeline from display updates through temporal interpolation of previously rendered frames, thereby maintaining visual continuity during frame rate fluctuations without requiring new frame generation at display refresh intervals.
