Allyl Protecting Groups

Allyl Protecting Groups is a class of organic protecting groups derived from the allyl moiety that selectively masks reactive functional groups in synthetic chemistry and can be removed under mild conditions via palladium-catalyzed or other transition-metal-mediated processes, distinguishing it from other protecting groups by its unique chemoselectivity and orthogonal deprotection pathway.
