Abstract

The larvae of anisakid nematodes, which may infect man if consumed in raw fish, were identified from market fish purchased in Connecticut, Maryland, and New York, at least one lot of which originated in Canada; one nematode was coughed up by a woman who had recently arrived from Tahiti.
