[Complications in surgical treatment of thyroid diseases].

Abstract

Recurrent laryngeal nerve injury and hypoparathyroidism are most common complications after thyroid surgery. Total thyroidectomy and reoperation are risk factors of recurrent laryngeal nerve injury and hypoparathyroidism.
