The reaction of TiS 2 , ZrSe 2 , HfSe 2 , 1T-TaS 2 and VSe 2 with the n-butyllithium in hexane solution has been done through the measurement of time dependent electrical resistivity and Hall coefficient. The semiconducting nature of TiS 2 , ZrSe 2 and HfSe 2 is converted into the metallic one by the lithium intercalation. The charge transfer rates from lithium atom to TiS 2 and ZrSe 2 bands are determined as 1.0 and 0.7, respectively from the chemical analyses and the Hall coefficients. The electrical resistivities of Li x TiS 2 (0.16≤ x ≤0.47) and Li x ZrSe 2 (0.23≤ x ≤0.95) almost follow the Grüneisen's relation for the metallic conductor. The low temperature resistivity of Li x ZrSe 2 ( z =0.49) shows a superconductivity below 1.7 K.
