Methods for Determining Driver Reach Capability

Abstract

<div class="htmlview paragraph">A method of determining the reach envelope, termed “ergosphere,” of vehicle operators is presented together with an example of the measured ergosphere of a general automotive package geometry. Application of this method in determining percentile of reach is described.</div>
