The objective of this paper is to describe a bifacial cell tester designed and constructed by CENER in order to evaluate the electrical response of the bifacial PV solar cells. The great versatility of the set-up built makes possible the measurement of the I-V characteristic of the bifacial solar cells with different combinations of front-rear irradiances, and in this way obtain the electrical cell parameters like short circuit current (ISC), open circuit voltage (VOC), maximal power (PMAX), Fill Factor, etc, in different albedo conditions. The I-V characterization results of a bifacial PV cell are shown as example to illustrate the possibilities of the tester.
