The article compares the results of three-dimensional hydrodynamic simulation with results of experimental studies of flow in the throttle channel in the absence and presence of cavitation. The applicability of described mathematical model to the real processes in the device and their characteristics is confirmed. The influence of the empirical coefficients of the mathematical model to the simulation result and the degree of agreement with the experimental data is considered.
