Abstract

This study examines how certain maladaptive cognitive schemas—such as feelings of defectiveness, failure, dependence, vulnerability to harm or illness, social isolation, incompetence, and enmeshment/undeveloped self—can predict suicidal thoughts and behaviors in adolescents during the COVID-19 pandemic.
