Enantioselective electrosynthesis of inherently chiral calix[4]arenes <i>via</i> a cobalt-catalyzed aryl C–H acyloxylation

Abstract

An enantioselective electrosynthesis of inherent chiral calix[4]arenes via a cobalt enabled asymmetric C–H acyloxylation is revealed, which exhibits a broad substrate scope, excellent functional group tolerance, and high enantioselectivity.
