Abstract

In AML cells, ONC213 suppresses αKGDH, which induces a unique mitochondrial stress response, and reduces MCL1 to decrease oxidative phosphorylation and elicit potent antileukemia activity. See related commentary by Boët and Sarry, p. 950.
