The current investigation explores the flow of a three dimensional steady nanofluid through a circular cylinder. The behavior of the radius is sinusoidal and the dissipative heat energy induced with viscous dissipation and Joule heating is assumed in the equation of energy to develop the heat transfer phenomenon. Suitable similarity transformations are used for the governing PDEs to convert into nonlinear ODEs and then solved by employing the numerical technique combined with the shooting technique. The characterization of certain material parameters on the flow characteristic is presented via figures and elaborated and the simulated values for the coefficients of engineering interest are tabulated. The results communicate that velocity in the axial and transverse direction is reduced for the Micropolar parameter, whereas the friction factor was found to be enhanced. The heat profiles are enhanced along with the Eckert number in both axial and transverse directions, whereas the heat transfer rate is found to be decreased. The temperature distributions are very high for ferrous oxide and silver nanoparticles have lower temperature distributions. Whereas silver nanoparticles admit higher momentum and alumina has lower momentum in the boundary layer. These investigations are applicable in the field of the semiconductor wafer, manufacturing and biomedical sectors, electronic chips, characterizing cement slurries, petrochemical industries, and magnetic material manufacturing systems.
