Abstract Ruthenium(II)‐catalyzed meta ‐selective C−H (di)fluoromethylation was accomplished by phosphine and carboxylate cooperation. The remote C−H functionalization was characterized by ample substrate scope, thereby setting the stage for meta ‐(di)fluoromethylation through facile C−H cleavage.
