Abstract

Abstract Fulvene has been prepared by condensing cyclopentadiene with formaldehyde at −15° using sodium ethylate as a base. UV.‐, IR.‐, NMR.‐ and mass spectra as well as polarographic half‐wave potentials have been recorded.
