Harte Schale: Das (RKK)4D8-Peptid ermöglicht eine zellverträgliche Mineralisation, bei der einzelne Chlorella-Zellen mit einer hohen Überlebensrate von 87 % durch eine SiO2-TiO2-Nanoschale umgeben werden. Die verkapselten Chlorella-Zellen zeigen eine fast dreifach erhöhte Temperaturtoleranz beim Erwärmen auf 45 °C für 2 h.
