Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: The primary objective is to assess the efficacy and safety of primary thromboprophylaxis for symptomatic VTE in adults with ALL receiving therapy with asparaginase compared with placebo, mechanical thromboprophylaxis, or no thromboprophylaxis. The secondary objective is to compare the efficacy and safety of different groups of primary systemic antithrombotic prophylaxis in adults with ALL receiving therapy with asparaginase by stratifying the main results per type of drug (heparins, vitamin K antagonists, fondaparinux, DOACs, ATIII substitution).
